FESTIVAL TRANSPORTATION
We’re expecting over 35,000 people at Squamish Festival this year. So we’re offering lots of different transportation options to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy the full weekend, while making sure we’re managing the impact on highway traffic and local residents.

TRAVEL HELPLINE
Sea-to-Sky Highway Travel Information 1-877-472-3399
BY CAR FROM VANCOUVER
Get on Highway 99 headed north and take it all the way to Squamish! At the Horseshoe Bay junction, keep to the left. Always be on the lookout for signs marked ‘Highway 99 Squamish / Whistler.’ That’s where you want to be.
BY CAR FROM WHISTLER
Even easier than from Vancouver. Take Highway 99 South until you enter the town of Squamish.
BICYCLE VALET
You came by bicycle? Good for you! Your reward shall be a FREE and secure bicycle valet. Every year we have more bicycles - thanks for being awesome! This also means each year we have to move it to a bigger space. The bicycle valet is located inside Brennan Rec Centre on Loggers Lane - cycle to the festival on Loggers Lane and follow the green Bicycle Valet signs to check your bicycle next to Gate 9 and then go have some fun.
Just don’t leave your bicycle overnight or a bear will probably take it. Seriously.
PARKING
We have several parking options available this year. See below to determine what kind of parking you will need (if any):
WEEKEND FESTIVAL PARKING
You should purchase this parking if:
- You have purchased a full weekend pass or VIP pass
- You are NOT camping
*You will be able to leave your car in the weekend lot overnight but you will NOT be permitted to sleep in your car. Check out our hotel recommendations below.
Parking options will appear when you are purchasing your festival pass.
If you've already purchased a festival pass, but forgot to purchase parking, you can buy weekend parking on its own here.
WEEKEND CAMPING PARKING
You should purchase this parking if:
- You have purchased a full weekend pass or VIP pass
- You have purchased a camping pass (not a premium camping pass)
While you can select your parking pass type, you won’t be able to select your exact parking lot when purchasing your passes – we will assign you a parking lot, and provide further instructions in your festival package which you will receive closer to the festival date.
Please note some parking lots which are further from the festival grounds will be serviced by a complimentary shuttle to and from the festival site, but no lots are more than 10 minutes away.
Camping Parking options will appear when you are purchasing your festival pass.
SINGLE DAY PARKING
You should purchase this parking if:
- You have purchased a single day festival pass
- You are NOT camping
- You have purchased a weekend festival pass but only need to park for one or two days (you will need to purchase a parking pass for each day you require it)
Purchase Saturday parking here.
WHEELCHAIR & ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Wheelchair parking will be located on Raven Drive directly across from Gate 3. This limited quantity of parking will be available through Ticketmaster Customer Service at 1-855-682-6736. Have your Ticketmaster account number ready when you call so they can link your parking to your festival pass.
PARKING LOGISTICS
You must have purchased festival parking ahead of time if you plan to drive to Squamish. Don’t expect to be able to just arrive and find parking, as all designated festival parking areas in Squamish are being specifically allocated ahead of time. Parking areas not controlled by the festival will be monitored by District of Squamish traffic enforcement and will be subject to ticketing and towing at all times.
Here are some helpful parking tips:
- If you purchased weekend, single day, or premium camping parking, you will receive your parking decal in your wristband package.
- If you purchased camping parking, you’ll receive your parking decal and lot assignment when you arrive at Camping Check In. Click here for more camping info.
- If you forgot to purchase camping parking, you will be able to purchase this at Camping Check in.
- You must display your vehicle parking decal at all times on your vehicle windshield. Vehicles parked outside of designated festival lots will be subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
- Check out the handy map below indicating parking lot locations. Follow signs along the highway which will direct you to your designated parking lot.
- Overnight parking is allowed in the weekend lots, but no sleeping in your car! No overnight parking is allowed in single day lots, and your decal is only valid for the day it states.
- Single day parking lot will open 2 hours prior to festival gates opening each day.
If you haven’t planned your travel yet, see below for shuttle options, see above for parking options, or call Ticketmaster at 1-855 – 985-5000 to purchase parking.
VANCOUVER - SQUAMISH - WHISTLER SHUTTLES
Our festival is right in the middle between Vancouver and Whistler and we want to make it as easy as possible for people traveling from either place to get to the festival. We strongly encourage using the Squamish Festival shuttle to get to and from the festival site. Our shuttle partners are offering a round trip shuttle from Vancouver to Squamish and Whistler to Squamish. For those of you camping with us, the shuttles are a great option with plenty of room for your bags and gear.
The luxury, air conditioned coaches are the easiest, no-fuss way to get to and from Squamish. Leave the car at home, ride with all your friends and arrive in style on the doorstep of the festival grounds.
Note that these shuttles are operated by third party operators, not the festival itself.
To purchase your shuttle ticket please click here. A shuttle ticket costs $50 per roundtrip.
