WRISTBAND INFORMATION
Registration will open the last week in July. Follow us on social media for updates!
Cashless Payment System
We’re pleased to announce that Squamish Festival 2015 is a fully cashless festival. This will speed up service times at beer gardens, food vendors, merchant sites and the artisan village , which can only be a good thing.
Now we know what you're thinking - No cash!? But I love the feeling of cold hard cash in my hands. And how will I pay for things at the festival? Simple. Use your RFID wristband. Our online registration portal allows you to activate your wristband and add credit to the RFID chip before you arrive at the festival. Directions to the online portal will be mailed to you with your festival passes.
There is a nominal one time service fee of $5 deducted from the total amount the first time you add credit onto your wristband. It will be deducted one time only. After the initial $5 fee, you can top-up to your heart's content without any additional fees. You can refund any outstanding balance left on your wristband after the festival.
BONUS EARLY REGISTRATION & CONTEST
Register your wristband by August 5 at 11.59pm and receive $5 Bonus $quam Bucks when you top up a minimum of $100 to your account. You will also be automatically entered for a chance to win a VIP upgrade!
Auto Top-up
The easiest way to add credit to your account is to enable the 'Auto Top-up Function' when you're adding $quam Bucks for the first time. With the 'Auto Top-up Function' enabled, your account balance will automatically reload with $quam Buck credits when your available funds drop below a pre-determined amount. This way, you never have to worry about running low on credit at the festival and you won't need to spend any time finding a Top-up Station before making purchases on-site. Any balance remaining at the end of the event is refunded to you! It's simple and super convenient!
Need more credit? No problem. There will be several ways to top up on-site and you won't even need to stand in line.
- Use our smartphone app (also handy for checking your balance onsite)
- Use the online portal on the festival website
- Visit a Top Up station - okay, there might be a line here. Onsite Top Up stations ONSITE will accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Cash. You can use a Credit Card to top-up online. If you lose your wristband, DON'T PANIC. You'll be able to go online and cancel any remaining credit
RFID Wristbands
Your pass in to the festival is a radio-frequency identification device (RFID) enabled wristband. You’ll receive your wristband via registered mail a few weeks before the festival. Keep it in a safe place away from younger brothers and sisters or nosy roommates. Your wristband contains a chip, which allows it to talk to various pieces of technology around the festival. Small talk. Like, “Hey, what are you doing?” “Oh, just sitting on a wrist.” Things like that.
Customer Service is located onsite at Gate 3 and Gate 9 and is the go-to location for wristband-related issues.
Get social. Like Social Media Social.
When you register your wristband, you can also connect it to your Facebook account, which will enable you to ‘check-in’ to various locations and performances throughout the day – keeping all those unlucky enough to miss the festival up to date on how much fun you’re having! Poor them. You wouldn’t rub it in would you?
